Hello
We are a company that produces:
Plastic seals for security related to cargo, postal, and other.
Products for Farmers, many of them electronic, related to control and improvement of them activity.
They both divisions are diferent but related in occasion.
Our website is www.cuencasa.com.ar.
Please do not get inspired by NOTHING (but the products) in the website, we are going to change it with another contest when the new logo is decided, we do not like the website.

With the excuse of our 25 years anniversary, we want to give a refresh to our logo.

Not to get too technical but with "logo" i mean: “a drawing/icon next/above/behind/etc to the company's name”.
We are not tied to the colors black, blue and red, not mind too much if you want change them, but we want the new logo has to do with the former to keep the company's identity (but not necessarily should be a slight variation to the current, always that a client can identify that this is the same company).
This is because we like the idea of "looking back to see where we came from, stop a minute to see where we are and look to where we are going from now on".

The icon or drawing should be usable without the word.
Must include company name, can be "cuenca s.a." or "cuenca sociedad anónima".
Cuenca is a last name, (basin in english i think) that means “a group of rivers” in spanish, if you are curious.

The winner will be chosen by the best logo (in my opinion), but i also request an idea of how to present the new logo with the caption “25 años” ("25 years") or “25 aniversario” ("25th anniversary"), but remember i will decide on the logo, not this label.

Colors that I can accept as a replacement or addition to the above (NOT REQUIRED, NOT THE ONLY, JUST SUGGESTIONS):
black with orange
sky-blue with other
green with yellow
green with red
yellow with orange

I want that if we have to show/print just the name, it can be iddentified without the icon/draw.
What i mean is, maybe it could be a good idea to create a font or suggest one (as when you see “nike” or “adidas” written, you know that is that brand name and unique font), not obligational.

Concepts (NOT REQUIRED, just to get inspiration):
“Problem-solver” company
Trajectory (many years and experience accumulated)
Knowledge (again as trajectory)
Personal attention to the customer
accurate response
Clarity
Innovative
Plastic – clean – brand new
I like transparency, brightness effects (as colored plastic buttons), blur, reflects
You could try to do something that was neither square nor rectangular, could be rounded or why not, a unique form.
I like to have a colored logo, but it should work also to be printed in black and white (i mean without lose the idea/form)

Submit alternatives to use in a "square" and "icon" (different print media)
Could be something with depth (the logo actually is 2D)
Make also a "25 years" inscription, ribbon, or whatever (but the effort should be in the new logo, that is what defines the contest will not be decided by the most beautiful 25 years)

Requirements:
Work delivered in curves/vector format (PDF, Corel, AI etc.)
Creativity / Originality
if your proposal is rectangular -as now is-, offer an alternative in “square” for when is needed.
Alternatives for all modes/media (you suggest: normal, reduced, web, etc.)
