Tributr.com is the online marketplace for entrepreneurs to help each other.

Users are entrepreneurs with businesses from $10k in revenue to $100M in revenue, who believe that the best way to succeed is to contribute... to help each other.

we have chosen the color "Purple" as the theme color. Please limit the palate to purple, black, white, gray(s) and one highlight color (red? orange? etc.). Choose a pleasing purple - not too dull, not too feminine, not to brazen.

The site is centered around a new social currency called "Contribution Rating". A user's Contribution Rating is a number between 0-99 that signifies how much they contribute to the community. The main ways that a user can increase their contribution rating is by offering help to another user towards that user's business goals, which are listed on the site.

There is a working prototype (not skinned) of the main business logic behind the site, and we want to find a designer who will work with us long term to create an extraordinary user experience.

We are using this contest to find a designer that we will want to use on an ongoing basis - eventually full time. We have a base of 100 or so private beta users *waiting* to use the site as soon as it is 'skinned' with your design.

The management team and advisory board for tributr.com includes some of the world's most successful entrepreneurial coaches, the world's most successful seller of online marketing education for entrepreneurs, and the founder of 3 start-ups that are valued at more than $100 Million each (two were purchased, one is still a stand-alone company).

Our standards are very high. Only an excellent design will win this contest.

*Design Aesthetics*:

The most important aspect of this design is that the user's eye is guided to what is most important, with clear, compelling actions that are visually rewarding to take.

The design should feel clean, 'high end', and suitable as environment for successful entrepreneurs to spend a lot of time.

The design should feel more like a library than a mall. More like a museum than a movie theatre. More like a deep well of knowledge than a get-rich-quick scheme, More like "the new yorker" than "the new york times", and more like formula 1 than nascar.
