Write a poem

Slaughtered

This is a poem from the point of view of an animal that is being killed to be fed to humans. I tried to capture the real words an animal would use to describe their experience and I have had people tell me that they chose to be vegan because of how they think animals feel. I used this poem to show how they do feel. I hope you like it!
