We have installed a Wowza server on CentOS. I can play VOD video from the server using RTMP and RTSP. Now I have some rtsp and http (m3u8) video source which can play in VLC player. I need to use them as Wowza's input and output them to RTMP format so that I can play it on a website. Need to configure wowza and let me know how it is done. The tricky part is, the subtitles are in DVD (idx/sub) format, embedded in the video files. The audio tracks are also embedded in the files. Files are to be served over HTTP progressive download, and the video container format is MKV This would require developing a browser plugin, as Flash does not support this format. We are aware that VLC and DivX offer browser plugins that can play MKV files on web pages, but we do not want to use 3rd-party plugins.
