Hello, Needed a mechanical engineer with past experience with design of engine components and accessories. Need to vast understanding of internal combustion engines. I am in need of assistance of designing and creating plans for a small scale engine. Will need the engine designed (All components) Will be able to prove measurements and design of what i am looking for. Some DPF filters are single-use and being replaced, others are burn the soot through the use of a catalyst or by fuel burner which heats the filter to soot combustion temperatures. The process is accomplished by software programming, which is individual for every model and make vehicle. The project is basically representation of a internal combustion engine. I need a single cylinder simulation, a moving mesh will represent the compression and expansion stroke. ( the one shown in video link ) I have to represent a part of the cylinder, have to introduce fuel at the end of compression stroke, and keeping combustion off, see how the fuel interacts with the environment, also how homogeneous the mixture of air and fuel is. And how can this be optimized by altering fuel speed, and nozzle diameter and all. The fuel used is n-dodecane. Finally, i would like to compare the results of the project with that of heptane, and if some similar work is done using other software like Star CD etc.
