I recently reinstalled Ubuntu on one of my servers (previously CentOS 5.4) because I love it. Have been using Webmin/Virtualmin with Sendmail, PROftpd, MySQL, PHP 5.3.x and Apache. Now tried to install the same combination using the same steps on Ubuntu but emails are not coming. Proftpd does not accept connections to virtualmin domain names. But I must have screwed that up badly; because now the whole directory where the website was in (this path: /var/www/clients/client1/web1/web ) is empty! We had to change the IP of our Apache WebServer and now the domain names are not resolving, even after we have added the new IP and our Website Hosts have changed the redirects to the new IP. We can resolve and see the websites from local subnets having contiguous IPs, but not from outside. We think it may be due to some port blocking issues or some automatic security enabled by Webmin.
