Hi, I need someone who has experience working with GeoVision Recording Server and GeoVision VMS application. Specifically, I am connecting the GeoVision VMS app to the GeoVision Recording Server. The cameras displayed in VMS are selected from GeoVision Recording Server. I use VMS to Log Motion Events to SQL Server. Once the data is logged to SQL Server, I have processes already built to handle this. I am having trouble setting up a reliable installation. I can get this to work, but eventually, after a few hours, it stops working. To be clear, the GeoVision cameras are setup to continuously connect to the Recording Server - 24x7. Hi I have a software that needs a little modification. It is called Geovision and it's designed to record 4 video channels cctv like. It is also designed to be connected to a pos(point of sale), through rs232 in order to overlay the text with the shopping purchased at that pos over the video( so then you can see the video and the text with what is purchased at the same time) I'm using it to display a number(counter) on the top left corner and the problem i have is that is overlaying this number row after row after row, and i want it to be displayed only once. Edit Geovision platform to take different IP cameras that are not geovision. Also need the control centre platform to work with out the USB dongle.
I'm looking for a sample C# application from you that finds and connects to a DVR capture card. The target platform is Windows 7. The sample application should be in C#. The capture card is recognized as a DVR card not a Video Capture card by Windows Device Manager. The specific card I will be using is from GeoVision but any DVR card should work. I currently have an application that uses Direct Show to connect to an out of production Video Capture card. As far as I can tell the Direct Show interface does not recognize DVR type cards. There is also some question about Windows 7 support for Direct Show. I own Lucky Dog (see ) in Tampa, Florida. We use Geovision (GV-650-16) cards to both monitor the facility from within and to allow our clients to view the cameras over the internet from wherever. We have been allowing our clients to use the “interface” which comes with the Geovision package (Geovision 8 point something) on a temporary basis. We wish to have a “custom” page written which will allow our clients to choose up to four cameras to monitor simultaneously. The page would include a map of the camera locations within the facility and the clients could choose from that map the 4 cameras they wished to monitor. I need to automatically reboot Windows XP if a Verizon wireless card transmitting images has not successfully connected to the internet with a new dynamic IP address. Geovision has an app that we use to run our web cams. Version 8 is the new version and our goal is to be able to embed the app right into a page and work around the user name and login.
