Hi . I have ocx file and i want to register it to 30 pcs through configuration management manager but I can not do that because I must give the user pcs admin permission to register this ocx file . is there any other solution?

We have a simple application made with Access 2003 interface&database on Windows XP. It has a charting control called Chart FX 3.0. When migrating the database to a more modern one and opening it in Windows 10 it crashes because of the control. Probably it is necessary to migrate this control for another one of the same or another manufacturer. I have already asked Software FX, the company that created Chart FX, no longer develops or supports Chart FX. The latest version of Chart FX, Chart FX 7, was released in 2012 and is no longer being updated. I wouldn't mind using a control from 2012 if the application doesn't crash on Windows 10. Worst case scenario is to find another control and replace the properties and functions to migrate the application correctly.

I have an old .ocx control that works fine in VB6. in VB6, the control has no mouse events. I'm upgrading my app from VB6 to a win form vb.net app. When I add this .ocx to a form, .net adds a whole bunch of mouse events (e.g. hover, leave, up, etc.). When I run the form and move my mouse over the control, a mousehover event is called and causes an error that I cannot trap, causing the application to quit. I'd like to have someone write any code necessary to disable or trap the .net mouse events for this control.
