I use php sendmail to send out newsletters from my backend I have technical issue.. basically when sending there if any FAIL or BOUNCE then i dont receive the Failed Delivery Reports. However if i send directly from my main mailserver (NOT using php sendmail) i.e i log on to and send there (it obviously uses a different sending system maybe smtp i dont know) then i DO RECEIVE the FAILED delivery reports u will have seen the classic MAIL DELIVERY SYSTEM. Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender So why is it not giving me the reports when i send using php sendmail from the backend? All users with a real email address RECEIVE my newsletter so i know it works. Maybe the php email script need adjusted? some technical settings there? is it to do with Return Path? please
