I have a script that let's me submit stories to my Pligg site through the backend. One of the features of this is to let a story start out with a custom amount of votes, for example 10. However, whenever a user who is logged into the site votes on one of these stories, it is updated to the true vote count. All this data is stored in the MySQL database, so I'm not sure what is going on. You should be comfortable with Pligg.

It is not displaying the number of votes per comment directly via ajax. I have to refresh to see my vote and the button color change. It should be done via ajax without any refresh.
