We run an e-commerce store on Shopify (Grow plan) and we display a “before price” / original price on some products. However, these products are not treated by Shopify as discounted products, because Shopify does not recognize our current “before price” setup as a native sale price (i.e. it is not using Shopify’s standard sale price logic for discount eligibility).
