For CNC 2D vectors, the problem usually isn't the drawing itself but the tolerances: the mill radius won't produce a sharp internal corner, and that has to be built into the contour from the start. I've made drawings for parts and tooling for an aluminum profile cutting line, so I know cuts and fits from practical experience.
