Project Title: Professional AutoCAD 3D Modeling + Complete Shop/Fabrication Drawing Package for Hydraulic Cattle Squeeze Chute (Veterinary/Cattle Handling Equipment) Budget Range (Fixed Price): $800 – $1,800 USD (please quote your best fixed price within this range) Project Description: We are a U.S.-based livestock equipment manufacturer looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer or professional AutoCAD drafter with proven experience in agricultural, veterinary, or heavy steel fabrication equipment. Scope of Work – Cattle Squeeze Chute (Hydraulic) We need a complete, production-ready 3D model and full set of shop drawings for a modern hydraulic squeeze chute (crush) similar in complexity to models from Arrowquip, Pearson, Silencer, or Priefert hydraulic ranges. Required Deliverables: Fully detailed 3D AutoCAD model (.dwg) 100% parametric where logical All parts modeled as separate solids/components (sheet metal, tubing, hydraulic cylinders, pins, etc.) Proper layers, materials, and mass properties assigned Assembly with all mates/constraints so the chute can be operated in model space (open/close head gate, squeeze sides, etc.) Complete set of fabrication/shop drawings (PDF + editable .dwg) General arrangement / 3D exploded views Detailed part drawings for every fabricated component (dimensions, tolerances, weld symbols, bend details) Sheet-metal flat patterns with bend lines and bend tables Full bill of materials (BOM) with part numbers, descriptions, material specs, quantities, and weights Hydraulic cylinder and pallet fork pocket details Welding maps and weld callouts (AWS standard preferred) Title block with revision table (we will supply logo and format) File package All native AutoCAD 2023–2025 .dwg files (3D model + 2D drawings) PDF set (print-ready, layered) STEP or IGES export of the full assembly (for CNC/plasma/laser verification) Reference Material We Will Provide (after NDA & award): Some preliminary CAD files of previous work already completed. Detailed hand sketches and dimensions High-resolution photos and videos of existing prototype Specific material list (RHS tubing sizes, sheet thickness, etc.) Hydraulic cylinder specs and mounting details Branding and model name requirements Skills and Experience Required (we will only consider freelancers who demonstrate these): 5+ years professional AutoCAD 3D mechanical design (portfolio links mandatory) Proven experience drafting livestock/agricultural equipment, hydraulic machinery, or heavy steel weldments Strong knowledge of sheet-metal design, weld symbols, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) Previous cattle chute, horse crush, or similar veterinary/restraint equipment projects = huge advantage Excellent English communication and ability to ask clarifying questions How to Apply – Please submit: Fixed-price bid within $800–$1,800 range Links to 2–3 relevant AutoCAD projects (livestock equipment, hydraulic machinery, or welded steel fabrications) Short note confirming you have designed cattle handling or similar heavy equipment before Approximate turnaround time (we need this within 3–5 weeks max) Milestone & Payment Schedule (Fixed Price – released only when deliverables are approved): Milestone 1, 25%: 50% of 3D model completed + preliminary GA Drawing, release contingent upon review and approval in AutoCAD Milestone 2, 35%: 100% completed 3D model + exploded views, release contingent on Full assembly work, all parts modeled correctly Milestone 3, 20%: 50% of Detailed shop Drawings + BOM and part numbers, release contingent on approval from owner. Milestone 4, 20%: Final Delivery: All shop drawings, PDFs, Step files, and revisions complete, release contingent on approval of all deliverables.
