I have a complete set of detailed technical drawings for an 80kg moden boat anchor and precise metric dimensions. What I need now is a clean digital recreation that can go straight to fabrication in 5 mm 316 marine-grade stainless-steel sheet. The anchor must have a provision to be lead filled and the closed up . The job in a nutshell • Translate my drawings into a fully-defined 3D CAD model (SOLIDWORKS, Fusion 360, or similar) built entirely in metric units. • Produce 2D fabrication drawings that clearly call out every bend line, hole location, weld prep, and critical tolerance. • Export manufacturing-ready files—STEP, DXF for laser cutting, and PDF drawings. Acceptance check The model should match the supplied dimensions exactly in centimetres, reflect the 5 mm sheet thickness throughout, and include any chamfers or radii shown in the originals. Before final approval I’ll cross-check the flat-pattern against my templates, so accuracy is essential. If you’ve taken stainless parts from screen to shop floor before, this will be straightforward.
