I already have a full set of drawings and load calculations for an inverter-duty transformer, but the current solution is clearly over-specified. My goal is to trim material costs without compromising electrical performance, temperature rise, or compliance with the relevant IEC/IS standards. The most promising savings lie in the materials themselves. I’m especially interested in re-evaluating the reinforcement and concrete elements called out in the existing documentation, as well as any opportunities to lighten the core, windings, or insulation where practical. Please keep the footprint and rating unchanged; the task is to achieve the same output more economically. Deliverables I need from you: • Revised CAD drawings (dwg + pdf) reflecting all cost-optimized changes • Updated bill of materials with quantities, grades and suppliers where possible • Brief design note or calculation sheet that proves losses, impedance, temperature rise and insulation levels remain within spec I’ll supply the present drawings and load data as soon as we start so you have a clear baseline.
