I am putting together a basic Organic Rankine Cycle simulation and now need solid, production-ready CAD models so the analysis can move beyond theory. The task is purely component design: a pair of compact heat exchangers, a small radial turbine, a matching pump, and a simple screw expander. All geometry will be created in SOLIDWORKS and kept fully parametric so I can tweak dimensions as the thermodynamic model evolves. Because the simulation phase is already scoped, these parts do not require intricate CFD or FEA at this stage—the objective is to establish clean, watertight 3-D geometry with sensible feature trees and clearly named dimensions. I will handle the advanced validation later once the flow conditions are locked down. Deliverables • Native SOLIDWORKS part and, where relevant, light-weight assembly files • Neutral STEP files for cross-platform sharing • A brief screen-recorded walkthrough (or annotated PDF) so I see how you set up key parameters and reference planes Acceptance Criteria • Each file opens error-free in SOLIDWORKS 2022 or newer • Main functional dimensions appear in a single, editable design table or are otherwise easy to modify • All four components align with the basic envelope and connection sizes I will provide on award That’s the entire scope for now—straightforward geometry with future flexibility in mind.
