Rate: $3NZD Per Hour. 10 Hours Per Week. Responsibilities: * Analyze and clean up signage photos (e.g., removing distortions, adjusting perspective). * Recreate signage as accurate vector designs (SVG, AI) or high-resolution raster images (PNG, PSD). * Prepare and export files for 3D use, ensuring compatibility with Blender (e.g., creating texture-ready images). * Collaborate with designers to meet specific requirements for texture mapping and integration. * Provide editable source files and layered PSDs if needed for future adjustments. Requirements: * Proficiency in Photoshop or similar image-editing software. * Strong skills in vector creation using tools like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape. * Experience with UV mapping and preparing textures for 3D environments (preferred but not mandatory). * Ability to match fonts, colors, and details with high accuracy. * Knowledge of texture formats and resolution standards for Blender or similar 3D tools. * Attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Deliverables: * Clean and accurate recreations of the signage in editable vector and raster formats. * Texture-ready files in PNG/JPEG format with appropriate resolutions for 3D applications. * Source files (e.g., PSDs, AI files) for future edits. * Optional: Any additional texture maps (e.g., normal, roughness, specular maps) if required. Preferred Skills (Optional): * Familiarity with Blender or other 3D software. * Experience working with 3D artists or designers. Project Timeline: * This is an ongoing role with regular work. I estimate 10 hours a week for 6 months if not more hours. Texturing and detail work should be moderately precise, maintaining good quality while allowing flexibility. Hi there! I have over 5 years of experience with both Blender and Photoshop. I'll draw over the signage that you send with the pen tool, making selections along the way, filling them with appropriate colors, and then converting them to vector masks. I can then export them as .svg files which Blender can open natively. In my experience however, it is better to just save the files as .psd and use that as textures in Blender as it can also open Photoshop files natively. If you check out my portfolio, you'll see some product renders that contains logos and other vector elements which went through the same process. I look forward to hearing back from you!
