I need a detailed glacier model that's made of plastic and can be taken apart to reveal its inner structure and how it conforms to bedrock. Anatomy of a Glacier The objective: To create a visual and tactile learning tool that illustrates the relationship between a glacier and the underlying bedrock. The model must be modular, allowing users to disassemble it to study the internal workings. Model Components The model should consist of three main parts that fit together: The Bedrock: A solid base with an uneven, natural surface (topography). Glacier – Left Section: One half of the glacier with embedded internal details. Glacier – Right Section: The second half of the glacier. Technical Guidelines Removability: The glacier must be easily removable from the bedrock base. Cross-section: The glacier must be split down the middle (vertical cut). The interior faces of this cut should depict the "contents" of the glacier, such as rocks, gravel, and sand embedded in the ice. The Water Layer (Crucial Step): The bottom of the glacier must feature a thin layer representing subglacial meltwater. This layer must perfectly contour to the bedrock’s topography, ensuring a seamless fit between the ice and the base. Assembly: Consider adding small alignment pins or holes for magnets so the two glacier halves can easily snap together and apart. Ideal skills and experience: - Experience with plastic modeling - Ability to create detailed, removable sections The project is needed ASAP.
