Hi! I am looking for an experienced Architect and Structural Engineer to design the renovation and vertical expansion of my ancestral property located in Golaghat, Assam. The project involves remodeling an existing ground-floor structure and designing a new first-floor addition. I am looking for a modern, contemporary aesthetic featuring a sweeping single-slope (shed) metal roof, a double-height vaulted living room, and a cantilevered first floor over the existing ground-level parking area. Key Project Highlights: Design Style: Modern contemporary facade (stucco/wood cladding) with large grid windows. Value-Engineering: The design must be cost-effective. We plan to use steel roof beams for faster construction and incorporate locally available materials (like treated smashed bamboo ceilings) to save costs while maintaining a unique aesthetic. Statutory Compliance: All structural and architectural drawings must strictly comply with the local building bylaws of Assam / Golaghat municipal authorities for seamless approval.
