Our family has founded a non-profit research and advocacy venture committed to funding world-class cancer research for patients with a particular germline genetic mutation that leads to AML. We are searching for a medical researcher/writer who can work ad hoc to research the specific questions we have in mind that relate both to the body of research in existence on this disorder as well as other analagous pathways. The right candidate will be able to summarize published journal articles clearly, accurately, and in an intelligible manner in non-scientific terms for both our benefit and that of our esteemed scientific advisory board. He or she will be self-motivated, have a relevant graduate degree, and be able to share writing samples that reflect an ability to research, filter and write cogently on cancer-related biology, ideally in layman's terms.
