Hi, we are a firm of accountants who use Xero. At present, invoices to our clients are created in another application (WorkflowMax) and the invoice details are passed through to Xero via an API.
We would like to invoice our clients directly out of Xero for a variety of reasons but here is the problem:
WorkflowMax passes through line item information to Xero.
Xero then relies on a Word template to generate the invoice using the mergefields it received from WorkfowMax. The invoice description is shown in the first line of a table in the Word template. Unfortunately however, the table also displays the descriptions of various tasks which we do not want to be displayed on the invoice.
So what we need is some code in the table that results in only the first record being displayed.
