Hi! The Word half and the Excel half fail for different reasons, so I treat them separately. Word: a converted PDF usually arrives as a pile of text boxes and manual spacing. It looks identical until you edit one line, and then the layout walks across the page. I rebuild on real Word styles instead, headings as heading styles, tables as tables, margins and spacing at page-setup level, images anchored. Same look, and it still behaves like a document afterwards. Excel: the damage there is in cells that wrap onto a second line and in merged cells, because the row silently shifts and one column ends up holding two values. So tables are rebuilt cell by cell, and then I check the arithmetic printed on the page itself, totals and subtotals, against the numbers I extracted. A page whose totals do not match is read again, not delivered. Before you commit: send one PDF and I return both files finished, free, so you can hold them against the original. One question: are these digital PDFs, or scans? Scans need OCR first, and that changes the schedule, not the result.
