Your university tutor has recently encouraged you to submit a Masters Student presentation title to the organiser of a prestigious Investment Conference that the University will be hosting on the 30th April 2013.
The conference secretary has just contacted you to let you know that your title:-
“Personal investment in the UK – is it a science or a matter of good fortune?”
has been accepted as a Masters Student speech on the opening day of the conference.
You are now therefore required to prepare and submit a paper copy of your speech based on your title to the conference secretary before the actual conference and as there will be a number of Overseas academic subject specialists attending the conference and they have asked that all papers and speeches to be transcribed into their own language.
You have also been informed that the conference guests of honour will be Lord Nigel Lawson, former Chancellor of the Exchequer, John Hughman, editor of the Investors Chronicle and Justin Urquhart-Stewart barrister, businessman and a commentator in the media on market events and developments.
Part 2). – worth 20%

Part 3). – worth 20%
Your module tutor is keen for you to explore your employability development as it is anticipated that a significant element of your research will occur during your participation in ‘The Masters Portfolio Game’.
In recognition of this and following on from the recent lecture entitled ‘Are you ready for the world of employability’, you are required to reflect on your personal development. You have already been asked to self-evaluate your employability against a number of competences developed by Rees et al. 2007 (an extract of which is reproduced below) and it is anticipated that this material is used to support this section of the coursework.
