Bookkeeper required for Australian business - Xero

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper with intermediate/advanced knowledge of Australian taxation to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the companys financial affairs, including payroll, payment matching and ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws.
Manage the company's financial affairs, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero
Match payments with third-party applications
Prepare and lodge BAS and other tax returns
Prepare financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws and regulations
Liaise with external stakeholders, including the ATO and auditors
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting and finance
Expertise in Xero and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations
Experience with payroll and payment matching with third-party applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
