Job Posting: Freelance Ladies Bag Designer for "VAUNTO" Brand Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Ladies Bag Designer to collaborate with our emerging brand, VAUNTO. VAUNTO specializes in stylish, high-quality, and modern ladies' handbags, totes, clutches, and accessories. We are looking for a creative individual who can bring fresh, innovative, and commercially viable designs to our collection, aligning with current fashion trends while maintaining our brand's aesthetic of sophistication and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in bag design, materials, and manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the design language of a growing brand. Key Responsibilities (Key Bullet Points) Design Creation: Create original and trend-setting designs for various ladies' bags (handbags, shoulder bags, cross-body bags, clutches, backpacks, etc.). Concept Development: Develop design concepts, mood boards, and color palettes for upcoming seasons. Technical Drawings: Produce detailed technical flat sketches (CADs) with precise measurements and construction specifications, ready for sampling/production. Material Selection: Advise on appropriate materials, hardware (zippers, buckles, chains), and trims to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Prototyping Collaboration: Work closely with our production/sampling team to review prototypes, provide revisions, and ensure the final product matches the design vision. Trend Research: Conduct continuous market research on global fashion and bag trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings. Brand Alignment: Ensure all designs align with the VAUNTO brand identity and target customer profile. Required Skills & Experience (Key Bullet Points) Proven Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as a Handbag/Accessories Designer. Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar CAD software). Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of bag construction, pattern making, material properties (PU/Vegan Leather, canvas, hardware), and manufacturing limitations. Portfolio: A strong and relevant portfolio showcasing previous bag design work is mandatory. Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate design ideas and work remotely. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in technical specifications and finishing.
