I'm on the lookout for a talented video editor (for YouTube and Instagram) to join my remote team. The job involves editing 2 YouTube and 2 Reels (for Instagram/TikTok) - 4 videos total as a high-quality, short, educational-style video each week. This is a long term position. Key Responsibilities: - Edit 4 videos per week, YouTube 5-10 minutes long and Reels up to 15-30 seconds, using Adobe Premiere. - Incorporate elements such as animated text overlays, background music, SFX, and transition effects to enhance storytelling. - Utilize a library of high-quality raw stock footage. - Perform color grading to ensure visual consistency. -The expected turnaround time for each video is 48 hours. - Edit and mix audio tracks to ensure clarity, consistency, and engagement. Key Aspects: - Purpose: The videos are intended to educate, evoke emotion, and inspire the viewer. - Tone: The documentaries should have an inspirational tone, motivating viewers to learn more and take action. - Footage: All videos will be created using stock footage, so experience with sourcing and stitching together relevant clips is essential. - Audio: Voiceovers will be provided after video edit. Script with clear visual directions will be provided before editing and for direction. Ideal Skills: - Proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) - Experience with creating documentary-style videos - Ability to convey an inspirational tone through video - Skills in sourcing and editing stock footage - Understanding of educational content delivery in video format. - Experience with color grading to enhance the visual appeal and emotional impact of the videos.
