**Part-Time Remote Marketing Generalist — Japan Inbound Tourism** We're a Japan-based inbound regional tour operator looking for an experienced marketing generalist on a part-time, ongoing contractor basis. **Scope:** - Own day-to-day execution across social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), Facebook Group management, website/SEO (incl. AI-assisted audits and AI-search/GEO-AEO optimization), conversion optimization, and email/audience management via Mailchimp - Paid ads (Google + Facebook) — a minor part of the role, focused mainly on remarketing - Coordinate all channels as one integrated strategy — not siloed tasks — using performance signals from one channel to inform decisions in the others - Use AI tools throughout execution, especially for content — trained to match our brand voice, not generic AI output **Requirements:** - 3–6 years marketing experience across multiple channels - Based in Japan or with expert knowledge of Japan - Native English speaker, or bilingual English/Japanese - Comfortable working independently on execution, while collaborating with us on overall strategy - Strong writing for brand-voice content **Structure:** - ~35 hours/month, ongoing contract (業務委託 / gyōmu itaku) - Weekly whole-team Slack check-in + biweekly 1:1 strategy review Please share relevant portfolio/examples of past social, ads, and SEO/website work when applying, along with your experience level (e.g., beginner/intermediate/expert) in each of the skills listed above.
