Straight answer first, because you will get a lot of people saying yes to all of it. Nobody can deliver AGI. Not me, not the labs spending billions on it. Anyone quoting you a price and a timeline for advanced cognitive abilities is either misunderstanding the words or hoping you will not notice until the money is spent. I would rather say that up front and still be useful to you. The agent-based simulation half is completely real, and it is where the value is. Agents with their own state and goals, an environment they act in, rules for interaction, and runs you can repeat with a fixed seed so results mean something. What people usually want when they say AGI on top of that is agents that reason rather than follow if-then rules, and that is buildable today. LLM driven agents with memory, tool use, and a planner, wired into the simulation loop so their decisions come out of reasoning over what they have seen instead of a lookup table. The part that decides whether this succeeds is what you are trying to learn from the simulation. A simulation without a question it answers is just a screensaver. Straight answer on the second half: agent based simulation is buildable, AGI is not. Nobody has built one, and anyone quoting you a price for it is selling something else. I would rather say that now than take the milestone and hand you a chatbot with an ambitious label. What I can build is the simulation properly: agents with their own state and decision rules, an environment they act in, and runs that are reproducible from a seed so results can be compared rather than admired.
