Real-time teeth whitening and skin smoothing on mid-range phones is mostly a latency budget problem, and the $13 shown won't cover porting a model to both mobile and desktop. Closest thing I've shipped is a voice agent that runs Whisper fully offline, so on-device inference is familiar, but face retouching itself is new ground for me.
