A 1 billion record file with the unique key being an IP address has been built and is refreshed monthly. The task is to design and build a solution that allows a call to be made via RESTful API and get a sub second response delivering associated structured elements from the file. Looking for a developer that is very knowledgable with current platforms such as Amazon AWS & EMR (you can suggest another platform) to cost effectively and rapidly build this system. A solid understanding of DNS would also be a big plus. The good thing about this project is that there is no legacy code to integrate with. We transfer the file and you have the pleasure of architecting and designing the system from scratch leveraging modern technologies.
This project can be broken into separate milestones starting with a detailed documentation plan which will include the data structure, the system architecture, the update process, the reporting, timeline, budgeting and so on.
