I’m building an Android-only social networking platform and need an experienced developer to turn the core idea into a working MVP. The app’s backbone is real-time interaction: users sign up, create and customise their profiles, exchange direct (and ideally group) messages, then scroll through an activity feed that reflects the latest posts, likes, and comments from their network. Feel free to choose Kotlin or Java in Android Studio and rely on Firebase, Firestore, or a comparable backend you’re comfortable with for authentication, real-time messaging, and push notifications. A clean Material-compliant UI is important, but the focus is solid, maintainable code that can scale once traction starts. Deliverables • Complete Android Studio project with well-commented source code • Testable APK (or Play Console internal test upload) reflecting messaging, profile customisation, and activity feed features • Basic documentation and build/run instructions, including backend setup steps • Short hand-over session to walk me through the architecture and deployment If you’ve shipped chat-centric or feed-driven apps before, I’d love to see them and hear your estimated timeline for the MVP.
