Hello, The cTrader Open API is the part I know well, so let me be concrete about where the difficulties sit. Authentication: Implicit Grant returns the token in the redirect fragment, so it must be captured in a Custom Tab and never handed to a WebView — a WebView can read the token and cTrader's guidance is explicit about this. Tokens stored in EncryptedSharedPreferences, never in plain prefs or logs. Protocol note: cTrader's Open API is Protobuf over WebSocket, not plain REST. Account data, order placement and execution events all flow through that one connection. That means the app needs proper connection lifecycle handling — heartbeat, reconnect with token refresh, and request/response correlation by message ID. Orders sent while the socket is down must fail visibly rather than silently. Demo/live switching: different endpoint hosts and separate client credentials. I'd handle it as a build flavour so a live build can't accidentally point at demo, or the reverse. Delivered: clean Android Studio project, documented auth/streaming layer, README covering app registration and environment switching, and a signed APK.
