App overview and requirements:
Mobile App - holistic system using WingChun, Pilates, and Meditation to free one from stress and back pain with proper posture.
The educational focus is on 3 essentials to a
healthy, fit and pain/stress free lifestyle:
Mind through Meditation,
Body through Practice & Forms, and Spirit by developing Qi through Posture/Spine and Relaxation.
The app contains a 2-3 minute video introduction to Meditation, Wing Chun (forms/fighting moves), and Pilates (posture).
Then the real app is divided into 3 main sections: * user can select one of 3 options
(For those interested in WC or Pilates only, we can set-up 2 sections with those specific vids only, with progression levels).
Videos and lecture design - quiz and physical body exercise, user must perform prior to moving to next level
Users watch the lectures thru 30 second lecture/demo clips.
After each clip, there is a short Q&A (points accumulated thru correct answers). In order to move to the next lecture, passing grade of 70%.
There can also be an animation, so user can do some swiping to demo proper straight punch or kick and proper rotations.
Then, one must do 5 meditation session workouts, or straight punch (example) workouts to move onto the next clip.
Everyone logs their workouts, earning points for each workout and compete with one another on the scoreboard.
Upon completing lectures and logging workouts, after 5-10 practice or Meditation sessions, one unlocks the next level or moves to advanced. Points accumulated based on quizzes and exercises.
Meditation levels: Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced
Wing Chun levels can be:
Sim Nim Tao: Basic techniques of straight punch, tan sau, bong sau
Chum Qiu: Shifting, kicking, moving
Biu Gee: Acceleration
Spirit (Qi): Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced
Rotation exercises, standing relaxed, thinking up spine…
Tennis ball rising, elbow circles, knee circles, etc.
Social + Leaderboard + Technical
There are scorecards and leaderboards in each of Mind, Body, Spirit (MBS) and at the end of each month, the results are made public. This incents each individual to login their workouts and also there can be daily reminders (Did you do 10 straight punches or meditation today?.. Pause, and take 3 deep, relaxation breaths now.. are you stressed today?..watch one of our de-stress vids..) The leaders of the month get free shirts, free private lesson, bonus points, etc.
This can therefore be a global game vs global players, or countries vs countries
On-line community with like-minds, who is fastest to 100,000 straight punches. Leaderboard shows daily , weekly, monthly, life time progress. Compete by country.
