Build Modern On-Demand Food Delivery Platform

Job Title Build Uber Eats–Style Food Delivery Marketplace (Web & Mobile) – Budget $10,000 Project Type Fixed-price – Budget: USD $5,000 - 10,000 Description I’m looking for an experienced full-stack developer or development team to build a food delivery marketplace similar in functionality and user flow to Uber Eats / DoorDash, but with my own branding and UI. The platform should support: • Customers ordering from multiple restaurants • Restaurants managing menus and orders • Drivers delivering orders • Admin overseeing the entire platform I am not looking to copy Uber Eats’ trademarks. I want an Uber Eats–style platform with the same type of capabilities and user experience. Core Components 1. Customer App / Frontend o Can be a responsive web app and/or mobile apps (iOS/Android via Flutter/React Native). o Signup/login, profile, address management o Restaurant listing, search, and filters o Restaurant pages, menus, item options & add-ons o Cart, checkout, promo codes, tips o Secure online payment integration o Order status + real-time or near real-time driver tracking o Order history & ratings 2. Restaurant Portal o Signup and onboarding (pending admin approval) o Profile management (logo, hours, address) o Menu and item management o Live order list: accept/reject, mark as preparing/ready o View earnings and basic reports 3. Driver / Rider App or Portal o Signup and onboarding (admin approval) o Online/offline toggle o Receive delivery requests, accept/decline o Access to pickup/drop-off locations o Status updates (picked up, en route, delivered) o Trip and earnings history 4. Admin Panel o Manage users, restaurants, and drivers o Approve/reject registrations o Monitor all orders and delivery status o Set commissions, fees, and promotions o Basic analytics and reporting (orders, revenue, active restaurants/drivers) Technology Stack I am open to your recommended stack, but expect something modern and scalable. For example: • Backend: Node.js, Laravel, Django, etc. • Frontend: React, Vue, or Angular (or Flutter/React Native for mobile). • Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar. • Infrastructure: AWS / GCP / Azure. • Integrations: o Payment gateway (Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, etc.) o Maps/geolocation (Google Maps, Mapbox, etc.) o Notifications (email/SMS/push) If you already have experience with similar food delivery or logistics platforms, that is a big plus. Deliverables • Working production-ready platform including: o Customer frontend (web and/or mobile apps) o Company portal o Driver app or portal o Admin panel • Deployment to a server/hosting environment (we can discuss preferences). • Source code + basic technical documentation. • Basic user guide for admin and restaurant onboarding. Budget & Timeline • Budget: USD $10,000 (fixed) • Preferred timeline: Within 60–90 days, with clear milestones and demos along the way. What I’m Looking For in a Freelancer/Team • Demonstrated experience building marketplaces, on-demand delivery, or ride-hailing apps. • Strong portfolio with live links to similar projects (if possible). • Good communication in English and ability to provide regular progress updates. • Ability to propose a realistic technical architecture and implementation plan.
