Job Description: Senior Android Kotlin Developer (Freelancer) - Mobile Application Development Project for Android POS Device As Paymore, we are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Android Kotlin Developer who can develop an Android 7.1 compatible mobile application for Android POS devices. This project requires the skills of an expert who has advanced experience in payment systems and third-party integrations and can communicate between different applications using AIDL. The development period and live delivery of the project will be completed in 1 week in total. Project Scope: 1. Application Opening and Login Procedures: • The application will start with a splash screen and then connect to the backend server and log in. • After the login process, the necessary parameters will be downloaded and the main screen will be directed. 2. MQTT Client Integration: • The application will connect to an MQTT Broker server using the MQTT Client and listen for commands from third-party systems here. • It will open the relevant pages (payment or cancellation page) according to the “Payment” and “Cancel” commands coming via MQTT. 3. Intra-Application Communication with AIDL: • AIDL will be used to call the functions and screens of another Android application on the same device. • The developer must ensure that the two applications communicate effectively with AIDL. 4. User Experience and Interface: • When idle, the application will play certain visuals and animations on the home screen. • When a Payment or Refund command is received, it will call the other application via AIDL and get the transaction result. 5. Transaction Results and Feedback: • According to the transactions performed, informational messages on the screen will be displayed to the user. • Transaction results and logs will be kept locally in SQL Lite DB and sent to the server in the background. 6. Settings Page: • A settings page will be developed where basic settings of the application can be made. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience with Android Kotlin. • Experienced in payment systems and POS device integration. • Expert in MQTT Client integration and protocol usage. • Experience in calling functions and screens between two applications with AIDL. • Experienced in SQL Lite or similar database usage and backend integrations. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a tight schedule. Project Timeline: This project will be developed, tested and put live within 1 week.
