I am developing a research-grade, dual linearly polarised antenna centred at 9.375 GHz for use exclusively in an indoor laboratory environment. The key performance target is a cross-polarisation level better than –35 dB across the antenna’s operational bandwidth. Your task is to carry the design from initial concept through full-wave simulation and hand over everything I need to fabricate and evaluate the unit in-house. Deliverables • Detailed electrical and mechanical model (HFSS or CST native files, plus STEP/DXF for machining or PCB fabrication) • Simulation reports covering S-parameters, radiation patterns, and cross-polarisation isolation, all referenced to 50 Ω ports • Manufacturing drawings, BOM, and connector/feeding instructions compatible with standard SMA launches • A short bench-top validation plan outlining the measurements required to confirm the –35 dB isolation target The footprint should remain compact enough to sit on a standard lab positioner, and materials must be readily available so the prototype can be produced without long lead times. If you have previous work at X-band or similar frequencies, please mention it; that experience will help us move quickly.
