I need to connect my activity-booking inventory to Google Things to Do so travellers can see real-time availability, pricing, and complete their reservation without leaving the Google results page. The project covers the full GTTD Activity Booking flow—content feed, availabilities, lead-times, pricing rules and the booking/confirmation API hand-shake—along with synchronising those same activities on major travel websites. Key deliverables • Build and deploy the complete Google Things to Do Activity Booking integration, compliant with Google’s latest specs. • Map my existing product IDs, schedules and allotments to Google’s schema and push live content, availability and price feeds. • Implement booking, modification and cancellation endpoints with robust error handling and logging. • Extend the connector so the same feed can be consumed by leading travel websites (e.g. Expedia, [login to view URL], Airbnb or similar) using their respective API formats. • Provide clear technical documentation and a short hand-over session so my team can maintain the integration. Acceptance criteria • Activities appear in Google search and on the “Things to Do” module with up-to-date stock and pricing. • End-to-end test bookings succeed on both Google and at least one connected travel website. • Response times and error rates meet Google performance thresholds. Please outline your proposed tech stack, estimated timeline, and any past experience with GTTD or comparable travel APIs when you reply.

Hi Sir, I am Ambar Shome, the director of Shome & Associates and the lead developer. I do not use AI for generating proposal. I would just like to make you aware of the few challenges: 1. Eligibility & onboarding delays Google requires specific partner eligibility, account linking and sometimes a security or business-review — that slows rollout and can block testing 2. Schema & product-mapping mismatch Google’s product model (product IDs, variants, allotments, lead-times) often doesn’t line up with an operator’s internal model — mapping schedules, extras, age/price rules and images is fiddly and error-prone This should be our first step. I have to analyse what your current schema is and then align the same with Google through transformation. 3. Data quality & content rules Low-quality descriptions or missing images get suppressed or give poor conversions; Google has content validation rules you must follow - While I work in the code, you need to make sure your content and images match the expectation of Google This needs to start early so by the time I finish you have the content ready. To avoid the BIGGEST challenge is double booking. a) Maintain a single “source of truth” inventory DB (not separate stock per channel). b) When a booking is initiated, lock the slot/allotment immediately (temporary hold) before confirming. c) Use atomic transactions (or row-level locking) so two bookings cannot consume the same slot.

Hi there, I’ve reviewed your Google Things To Do integration needs: real-time availability, pricing, and a seamless end-to-end booking flow, plus cross-posting to major travel sites. I’ve delivered similar GTTD-style connectors and partner feed pipelines, mapping product IDs, schedules, and allotments to Google’s schema, pushing live content, and handling booking, cancellation, and modifications with robust logging. I’ll implement a reusable connector layer that can also feed Expedia/Booking/Airbnb-like endpoints using their APIs, with clear docs and a hands-on handover session. Tech choices: Node.js or PHP for API glue, Postgres for staging, cloud hosting with monitoring (Grafana/Logs), Google Content API / Travel APIs, and standard webhooks for confirmations. I’ll run end-to-end tests, performance tests, and error-rate targets to meet Google thresholds. Delivery includes architecture notes, deployment plan, and a short knowledge transfer session. Next steps: confirm API access, share your sample data, and align on a go-live window. Do you have Google Travel API access and a production GTTD Merchant account already? What is your current data model for activities (IDs, schedules, stock)? What lead-times and blackout rules apply for bookings? How should pricing rules handle seasonality, taxes, surcharges, refunds? What feed format and cadence do you prefer for stock/pricing updates? What are your error handling and retry policies? What performance targets and SLAs do y

Hi, I can deliver a full Google Things to Do Activity Booking integration that is compliant, performant, and built for long-term maintainability. The implementation will cover content feeds, real-time availability, pricing rules, lead times, and the complete booking, modification, and cancellation handshake required by Google’s latest specifications. Your existing products, schedules, and allotments will be mapped cleanly to Google’s schema to ensure accurate and timely updates. The architecture will be API-first, with robust validation, logging, and retry handling to meet Google’s response-time and error-rate thresholds. In parallel, the same normalized inventory feed will be extended to support major travel platforms using their respective API formats, avoiding duplicated logic and ensuring consistency across channels. The result will be an end-to-end booking flow where travelers can discover, price, and reserve activities directly from Google and connected travel sites, with confirmed transactions flowing back into your system reliably. Clear technical documentation and a structured handover will allow your team to operate, monitor, and extend the integration without rework. Regards, Soas

Hi, I can build the full Google Things to Do (GTTD) Activity Booking integration end-to-end, including content + availability/price feeds, lead-time rules, and the complete booking/modify/cancel API handshake with proper logging, retries, and error handling. I’d propose a scalable backend (Node.js or Python) with a PostgreSQL inventory layer, feed generation services, and secure webhook/API endpoints hosted on AWS/GCP. I’ll also structure the connector so the same normalized inventory can be mapped into Expedia/Booking.com-style formats for multi-channel distribution. I’ve worked with travel booking APIs and real-time availability systems and can deliver clean documentation plus a handover session. Timeline: ~4–6 weeks depending on channel approvals.

Hello, I have reviewed the details of your project. i will review your current booking inventory structure including product ids schedules pricing rules and lead times. using python and node js i will prepare clean data feeds that follow google things to do activity booking specs. content availability and pricing feeds will be generated in json and pushed on a regular sync cycle so google always receives fresh data. for the booking flow i will create secure api endpoints that handle reservation creation confirmation updates and cancellations. these endpoints will validate requests log every transaction and return clear responses that meet google performance rules. testing will be done using google sandbox until end to end bookings complete successfully. once stable the same feed logic will be extended to support expedia booking com and airbnb by adjusting request and response formats while keeping one source of truth. Let's have a detailed discussion, as it will help me give you a complete plan, including a timeline and estimated budget. I will share my portfolio in chat I look forward to hear from you. Thanks Best Regards, Mughira

Hi, I’ve built and operated real-time booking integrations in the travel space where availability, pricing rules, and confirmation flows have to stay perfectly in sync across multiple channels, so this scope is very familiar. I’d implement the full Google Things to Do Activity Booking flow end-to-end—content feed, live availability, pricing, lead times, and the booking/modify/cancel handshake—mapped cleanly from your existing product and inventory model. The same core connector would then fan out to one or more OTA APIs (Expedia/Booking-style) so you’re not maintaining separate logic per channel. I focus heavily on performance, idempotency, and logging so Google approvals and ongoing operations stay painless. If you’d like, I can walk you through the proposed architecture, stack, and a realistic timeline, plus how I’d de-risk the Google review and certification process based on similar integrations I’ve done.
