This error happens because Cursor’s Claude Code sometimes returns plain-text error messages instead of JSON; Unexpected token 'C' means: somewhere of the code is trying to parse "Claude con..." as JSON, so it complains on the first char 'C' is unexpected (expect '{' or '[' ) 1.
