- 1. Use the excel sheet of over 400 homeless people (copy of [login to view URL]). Download it here below - 2. Go to Miami dade gov gis data site and download Miami dade county streets - 3. Make an address locator. Locate the addresses - 4. Make a ½ mile buffer around these locations - 5. Make 3 zones (polygons) where the large concentration of homeless are - 6. Use census tracts to find locations that you would like to move this population to, based on whatever data you judge to be most adequate - 7. Make 3 new zones (polygons) where the homeless population should be relocated to - 8. In ArcGIS map layout, make a pdf map with all map elements (including title, short map description, scale bar, ect.) - 9. Upload your screenshots of each step and your final map
