Yes, eliminate the steel angles and the trusses create the overhang. The trusses slope because the W10x33 steel is set to create the slope so the trusses are flat parallel chord trusses. It seems to me that in the direction of truss span, the truss top chords can easily cantilever over the supports. The truss top chords likely will be double 2x4s. In the direction perpendicular to the sloped span, it seems to me the trusses must change direction and must be supported by a girder truss. j
