This task requires you to review the example build design we provided, and based on the concept, to produce a new building design for a two-story house (Residential) on the footprint supplied for its ground and upper levels. EXAMPLE OF THE CONCEPT We would like you to note the following on the EXAMPLE building design we provided. 1. In the EXAMPLE, the house was built initially as per the attached ‘Original Build’ design, and then that house was converted into two houses by adding two doors to separate access to the ground and upper levels after a few years. The ‘FUTURE USE’ scenario is also attached. 2. In the EXAMPLE, the ground-level house achieved a lounge, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a garage (for 2 cars), 1 bath, 2 toilets, and a laundry. And, the upper-level house achieved a lounge (family/meals), kitchen, 4 rooms, 1 bathroom + toilet, 1 bath, 1 separate toilet. WHAT IS ANTICIPATED FROM YOU? Following the above concept, now we need you to design a new house, looking at the footprint provided for its ground and upper levels. See the ‘TASK’ files showing footprints for ground and upper levels. Please note the below. 1. You are not allowed to amend the footprint measurements for both lower and upper levels. The footprints show the buildable area for each level. 2. For the ground level, the GARAGE (for 1 car) needs to remain as it is. 3. For the ground level, we would like to achieve at least a lounge, kitchen, 1-2 bedrooms, a garage (for 1 car), 1 bath, 1-2 separate toilets, and a laundry (laundry means a place to keep the washing machine). 4. For the upper level, we would like to achieve at least a lounge, kitchen, 3-4 bedrooms, 1 bath, 1-2 separate toilets, and a laundry (laundry means a place to keep the washing machine). 5. Each level is 2700mm tall. All the measurements are provided in mm. 6. The Building Plan (original build-version) should be compliant with the Australian National Construction Code [login to view URL], which we are happy to guide you with. [FUTURE USE plan wouldn’t be compliant]. ANTICIPATED FILES FROM YOU? On completion, you will need to provide us with the following files. 1. CAD and PDF files showing the building plan (similar to the ORIGINAL BUILD) 2. CAD and PDF files showing the building plan for future use, showing additions required for house separation (similar to FUTURE USE) 3. 3D view file of the above, ORIGINAL BUILD and FUTURE USE PAYMENTS The payment for this project is $50, which is budgeted and NOT NEGOTIABLE. Please do not bid if you are not happy with the payment. Any future work, after delivering the above three types of files, will be discussed separately. TIMELINES The first draft needs to be provided within 3 days to consider your bid. The timelines for final delivery can be negotiated. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, WHAT’S NEXT? The above payment rate is budgeted and NON-NEGOTIABLE. Please do not bid to waste our and your time if your plan is to ask for more later. You will not get anything more!
