Greetings, here is a fun project to work on: an Arduino-based version of a classic Game & Watch Mickey Mouse handheld, originally made between 1980-1990.
It's a very simple device: Mickey Mouse with a basket catches rolling eggs from four chickens. You need to point him into the direction of each chicken. There is a score on the screen (how many eggs you caught). Every time you catch 50 eggs, the game speeds up a little bit. If you fail to catch an egg, you see an animation of a chick running away and lose either a full life or 1/2 of a life, depending on whether Minnie's picture is present (she randomly appears and disappears from a window). Totally there are 3 lives, if you use them all out the game is over.
Here is a photo of the original device in case you've never seen one:

You'll also need to recreate the sounds similar to the original game (piezo buzzer), please refer to the Youtube video above.
I will provide you with all the necessary assets (images, sound recordings if necessary). I even have a similar project made for a PIC microcontroller in case you need it for reference.
What's required from you is a code that runs on Arduino (preferably Uno, but feel free to use a Mega if there's not enough memory), an SPI ILI 9341 screen (8-bit mode) and a four-button setup. Feel free to use Sparkfun, Adafruit or any other libraries for the project.
Serious bidders only please.
Thanks!
Hi, I am an embedded developer having 4+ years of experience in Arduino programming. Also, have prior game building experience but it was by using UNITY but still, I have a good logical concept used behind the game building.
As an embedded developer I love to do the different project and a project like this is the best part of my work which include giving life to old memories with arcade games.
I am new to freelancer so I need to grab my 5 stare review for this project.
I have pretty good experience in embedded system designing as well as PCB designing you can have a look at my portfolio.
I would love to work with you on this project. Looking forward to your reply for further discussion.
thank you,
Dharmik
