I'm seeking an experienced Arduino and CAN bus developer to analyze and reverse engineer J1939/UDS CAN messages. The goal is to emulate a specific function, initially focusing on diagnostic tool special function replication. That might, or might not include Seed-Key exchange algorytms. I've attached logs in different file formats for you to analyse. The 2 logs are from 2 different vehicles, but same special function activated with OBD tool. We must be able to replicate this procedure with Arduino, any have a verification from ECU. We already have full bench setup with Arduino CAN-communication to a vehicle Engine control unit - tested and working, so we can double check for your solution to work immediately. We need a Simple C++ script that will activate the same functions in ECU as Diagnostic tool. If you succeed to make this work -- we have aproxx 15 more tasks of the same type, within the next year. Key Requirements: - Analyze raw CAN traces (We have PEAK Explorer 6 if that helps) - Emulate J1939 commands with Arduino (C++) - Use attached logs to determine procedures/messages Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in Arduino and C++ - Strong knowledge of CAN bus protocols, especially J1939/UDS - Experience with real-time data analysis and logging - Familiarity with diagnostic trouble codes and automotive protocols We are not affraid of a high price. We are affraid of spending a lot of money on non-working solutions. If you plan to bid in on this job - Please check the 2 CAN-Logs i have attached here, and write me a PM about details of this Special function i've logged inside. Both are from same generation ECU, and Same special function activated.

Hello, As an avid Arduino user for over ten years, I've built a wide range of projects including simulating and analyzing CAN bus data. I have deep understanding of the J1939 protocol and solid experience in real-time data analysis, which is critical to interpret your provided logs. My proficiency in C++ allows me to create clean, efficient scripts which can successfully send the DTC delete command to effectively clear any specific codes on your Engine Control Unit (ECU). The fact that you already have a working bench setup with Arduino Can communication, it would be very convenient for us to replicate this procedure remotely via Teamviewer. More so, I understand the importance of logging CAN bus data accurately and efficiently using PEAK Explorer 6. Choosing me means opting for a well-rounded skill set combining both automotive engineering and software development. My hands-on experience and proven track record will ensure that we won't just stop at getting this job done; we’ll do it meticulously and translate that success into future projects together. So let's connect soon and take your project forward confidently! Thanks!

Hello, I understand you're seeking an Arduino and CAN bus expert to analyze and reverse engineer J1939 CAN messages to clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) on your ECU. With a solid bench setup already in place, it sounds like we just need to decode those logs you provided and whip up a C++ script to handle the DTC deletion. My approach will involve analyzing the attached CAN traces using your PEAK Explorer 6 and ensuring real-time logging of CAN bus data. We can definitely set up a TeamViewer session to facilitate smooth communication during this process. I'm well-versed in J1939 protocols and have a strong grip on Arduino programming, so replicating the necessary commands shouldn't be an issue! What specific diagnostic trouble codes do you want to focus on deleting first? Thanks, Muhammad Awais
