I’m looking for an artist who can create a striking abstract piece measuring roughly 60 × 78 inches. Mixed media is my preferred approach—I love the layered textures and unexpected finishes it allows—so feel free to combine acrylics, collage elements, pastels, or any other materials that help the composition come alive. The work will hang as the focal point of my living room, so it needs to command attention from across the space while still rewarding close-up viewing with interesting details. Bold colour contrasts, energetic mark-making and a sense of depth are all qualities I’m drawn to, but I’m open to your own vision as long as the end result feels cohesive and contemporary. Timing is important: I’d like to receive the finished, ready-to-hang canvas as soon as possible. To keep things moving smoothly, please plan to share a quick concept sketch or digital mock-up before you start on the full piece; once approved, we can arrange progress check-ins and final shipping logistics. Deliverables: • One finished abstract mixed-media artwork, approximately 60 × 78 inches, on stretched canvas or similar sturdy support. • Final surface sealed and protected for long-term display. • Photographs of the completed work from several angles prior to shipment. • Secure packaging and tracking details once the piece is on its way. My name is Todd Van Linda, and I am a freelance Concept Artist and illustrator. I also have a 30 year background in structural and miscellaneous Steel, architectural drafting and Design. I solve problems with pictures. I have been drawing with pencil and pen and ink since I was a child, and I have been working freelance full - time as an artist / illustrator since January of 2010. My previous work has been quite the mix; I'm not sure that there's anything I haven't illustrated at one time or another, in one style or another. While I am a big adherent to traditional pencil and pen and ink techniques, I am also a daily Photoshop user for the digital aspects. Digital painting is a major focus. I can provide a (1) sample / concept drawing (line art only) for your review and approval as part of the job. I do not do free samples. That is why I have a portfolio.
