Job Title: Public Relations Specialist for Photographer/Traveler About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Specialist to help elevate the work of a talented photographer and traveler. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with major media outlets and prestigious publications. This role will focus on pitching photography and travel articles to mainstream media for publication and building long-term media partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Pitch photography and travel articles to top-tier media, photography, travel websites and get them published. Develop and implement a strategic PR plan to secure media placements and features. Cultivate and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, and media contacts within the travel and photography industries. Work closely with the photographer/traveler to understand their brand, vision, and content, ensuring pitches are personalized and targeted. Coordinate press releases, media kits, and article submissions as needed. Provide regular updates and feedback on outreach efforts, and adjust strategies based on media responses. Qualifications: Proven experience in public relations, media pitching, or communications, preferably with a focus on photography, research and travel experience. Strong network and established connections with key media outlets and journalists. Excellent writing and communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A passion for photography, travel, and storytelling is a plus.
