Write article for company newsletter about employee leaving

An employee is leaving to do some further study. We need to create a 1,500 word article within 2 days that discusses his personal background, what he did at the company while working here, the scholarship he has won, and what he is doing next.
The target audience is other employees so we need to weave in stories about the company in order to make it relevant for other staff to read. Given it is part of a company newsletter, it should be interesting to read and include things that make people laugh as well.
