I'm Lucas, the founder of PianoDreamers.com. For several years we’ve been establishing this resource in the music industry. Our goal is to become the hub of the most useful and in-depth information about digital pianos, keyboards, and sound design.
You won’t find any superficial 500-word articles that don't say anything concrete and were just “copy-pasted” from another site. Most of our articles are 3000+ words high-quality pieces of content that go into a lot of detail about the topic.
For now, there're mostly digital piano reviews and buying guides on the website, but we’d like to publish more informational and how-to articles related to music making, DAWs, VST plugins, home studio setups, etc.
Examples of such articles would be:
How to record a digital piano? (both sound and MIDI)
How to connect and use a digital piano as a MIDI-controller?
What are VST plugins and why you might want to use them?
Best music production software (DAWs): The Ultimate Guide
How to connect a digital piano to an external sound system/amp
We're looking to hire another writer who can contribute to our blog. The position will start with 2 blog posts per month, with much room to grow beyond this if you can deliver consistent quality work.
We pay about $50 to $120 per article depending on the length (per word basis).
Most of the blog posts will be between 2,500 – 3,500 words per post with occasional articles of 4,000+ words. Please bid based on delivering 1 x 3,500-word article.
Please note that we have very high editorial standards compared to most other blogs. Every post that we publish goes through our strict editorial process where we check all claims and ideas for accuracy.
By all means, check out our latest blog posts to get a feel for the sort of quality we are looking for. Note that we only require our writers to write the content, no web formatting or design is required.
Preference will be given to those who have relevant experience in the music field (digital pianos, keyboards, music production, DAWs, studio work, etc.)
Please provide at least 3 samples of similar content you have written and/or published in your application. Also, take 5 minutes to customize your application since copy pasted applications rarely stand out :)
Thanks and good luck!
