One page short story using specific words.
I need a fiction writer to create a one page(about 250 words, double space) short story. The targeted audience is high school age students, no profanity, nudity and violence. You need to use the word list (15 words) I provide to you to create a fun and engaging story. The purpose of this very short story is to help kids to memorize the vocabularies using a story telling format, so that when they learn these new words, your story helps creating a visual imagery in their minds. In short, the story needs to have the provided 15 vocabularies in the content.

Story example:
There was a super fat man who was once captured by the enemy and years later he got so thin due to lack of food, he slipped himself through the bars, which was once to narrow for him, in the dungeon and escaped. He mindlessly trolled down the metropolis, just a few years past, the city he used to live in, is now a perplex maze…..
This is my version. I need you to create something a lot more exciting than mine. Creativity in your work is what I am looking for, professionalism as a writer is a must, meaning your work should not have any grammatical errors, you are your own editor. They had to sneak past the small cabana where the caretaker of the ruins lived, as they knew that the site could only be visited with a guide, due to the dangers of the unstable subterranean dungeons that had been discovered underneath the sanctuary of the ruins. Not one of them had ever visited the old ruins before and they spent some time locating the depository ... "

How about the following story;
A genie comes out of a bottle & realises he is on a peninsula, covered with seawater from three sides & a plateau from other side. he realises its a metropolitan city. he flies towards a cabana by a beach side & observes a lady lying there with her kid. In a fit of sadness he dives into the see & finds a shoal of bright orange fishes, mesmerised he forgets about his sorrow & thinks of finding his lost master's family. He sees a church dome & finds an Abbey nearby where nuns where roaming. He enters the biggest building & finds himself in a huge vestibule with passages leading in five directions. He hears a sound & goes there to find two people sitting in a lounge discussing about the records they keep in the depository in the passage number two. he flies there & finds that his masters family is now staying in the springdale of north London.
He starts flying towards springdale & on way sees the ruins of their last house, migratory birds flying over a bird sanctuary & ships loading & unloading from a quay. He finds the elder of the family in dale & tells him how he was born in subterrain world & how his forefathers saved him from dungeons after realising that he is a good genie & how his foolhardyness landed him in a bottle which no one from his family could find. He tells the elder that he wants to serve them now to which the elder agrees on a condition that Genie will not tell about this to anyone!

Your project seems interesting to me, As an ex-primary teacher, I would love to create stories for kids. I have enough experience to read and create imaginary stories for the kids when i was a teacher.
As far as previous experience is concerned i have only done some recipe writing on freelancer. so this would be my first story writing project, but I am ready to write a sample story for your assessment.

Hi, it would fun and a pleasure to help in this project. The creativity is very important to the success. I think you can approach these mini-stories in several dfferent ways... For example, create one character with his/her adventures. Or tie each story in with a timely and topical news story. Or create a familiar story using known characters from TV, fiction or movies. It's important to know a little more about your school and these young adults.
