Internet commerce involves the sales and purchases of products and services over the Internet (Keeney, 1999). The growing interest in understanding what factors affect consumers′ decisions to make purchases online has been stimulated by the growth in online sales (Liao and Cheung, 2001; Ranganathan and Ganapathy, 2002; Shih, 2004; van der Heijden and Verhagen, 2004).
