We have a client in the Financial Sector. We assist them with their Social Media.
Part of our monthly service includes the writing and posting (using Hootsuite) of a series of Twitter status updates. We need a writer to handle this task. Maybe that's you?
This is an ongoing contract - month to month and requires a batch of content written and delivered (according to Hootsuite specs) before the 21st of each month.
For instance, we are now hiring for the August 2017 updates and would need them written and delivered by July 21st.
We are asking ONLY for the content creation - writing. We upload the tweets - we simply want you to write Twitter updates and deliver them to us in Hootsuite batch upload format (basically a simple CSV spreadsheet.)
We require TWO TWEETS, PER WORKDAY, DELIVERED MONTHLY (44 updates in total). We expect you will consider the calendar and review the client website for appropriate content ideas. We anticipate you are a skilled Social Media writer and excel at creative & engaging updates for client channels, just like Twitter.
Updates need to vary in length (up to 120 characters + link URL) and as you might expect, not be overly promotional. They should (more often than not) link back to aspects of the client website and should be a mix of information, educational and so forth.
We want to work with good people and are offering £25 for the 44 monthly updates ... which is about equal to £0.57 per update.
Along with your cover letter, please submit samples of tweets you have written or other writing samples that demonstrate your style. Also, include how often you use Twitter and your top 2 pros and cons about posts/posting on this service.
